How a prescription actually gets verified
Verification is the part of the medicine lane that customers see least and that matters most. It is also the reason we are slower than services that simply ship whatever you upload.
What we check
That the prescriber is real and currently registered with the relevant professional body in the country they practise in. A name and a signature are not evidence.
That the prescription is in date, that the quantity requested matches what was prescribed, and that the patient named is the person receiving the shipment.
That the molecule is not controlled or scheduled, and that it is permitted into the destination in the quantity requested.
Who dispenses
A licensed partner pharmacy in Bengaluru, against the verified prescription, from sealed manufacturer packaging. Nothing is decanted, repackaged or relabelled in transit.
You receive the batch number and expiry with the dispensing note, so the product is traceable to its manufacturing lot.
If a service cannot tell you which licensed pharmacy dispensed your medicine, ask why not.
Why it takes a day
Registration checks are made against professional registers, some of which are not instant. We would rather take a working day than dispense against a prescription that turns out to be unverifiable.
Refills on an already-verified prescription are faster, because the verification is already done and only the quantity and date need checking.
